Willemstad
City tour
The East side of Curacao is well populated where most of the attractions,
residential areas and hotels are. Also Willemstad is situated in the East which
is divided in Punda (point) & Otrobanda (the other side). Highlights of the East side: Queen Juliana Bridge, Willemstad,
Blue Curacao Liquor Factory, Scharloo Jewish Neigborhood, Spanish Waters Bay
area.

The
fun Beach Express
Hop on the famous Tropical Beach Bus and go west! See beautiful nature,
hills and valleys, dramatic rock formations, old plantation homes, former
slavery huts, meet the local animals at the National Christoffel Park and
experience the famous Boka Tabla Cave. Swim, Snorkel or just relax at two of the
most wonderful beaches of Curaçao. A cold lunch buffet is served right on the
beach. After lunch you’re off for a sight seeing drive to the second beach to
explore for swimming or snorkeling or just sunbathing.

Eco Biking Safari
This is a unique biking ECO experience! You will be picked up at the dock
by a Yellow Adventures guide who will escort you to the bus. With this bus
you will travel along a scenic route to the
Porto Mari Eco Plantation.
During this bus ride, passengers will receive information about the
history, topography and nature of the island. There you will get a
briefing about the eco biking trail, safety and the
Porto Mari Eco Plantation area
in general. During biking the trail you are likely to encounter, orchids,
cacti, divi-divi trees, and possible
spotting of deer, wara wara birds of pray, lizards, and maybe even wild pigs.
There are many panoramic viewing point witch you will enjoy while you are
overlooking the Porto Mari Eco Plantation and the Caribbean Sea. After
traveling the trail you will as well enjoy a drinks and there is the
possibility to have a swim at the beach of Porto Mari Eco Plantation. This
is a very exclusive tour to get a glimpse a Curacao’s Eco Plantation. A
conservation area and a adventurous way to learn about Curaçao it’s
nature.

Curaçao
Eco Hiking Safari
You will be
picked up at the dock by a guide. By taxi-van you will travel to the
beginning of the trail where a briefing on hiking and safety will be held.
The major portion of the tour will be spent along the ‘salt plane’ hiking
trail through a ‘nice scenery’ part of Curaçao with a rich history and
interesting nature. You will witness Curaçao’s rough cost and beach line
and it is very likely you will encounter several lizards and iguanas. The
guide will give you information about the trail, the area, history and
nature at the trail. You should be able to walk and climb on trail with
differences in height, sand, gravel and rocks. To fully participate may
require extended periods of walking over even and uneven surfaces, steep
terrain and/or water activity in a slight current. There may be steps,
inclines, cobblestone surfaces, and extended periods of standing.
Participants with physical limitations should take this into account. You
will have many opportunities for making pictures and video.

UNESCO World Heritage City Walk
You will be
welcomed at the dock by a guide. After a short briefing on the tour and
the route you will walk to the Rif Fort where the guide will explain the
history of the area. On your way to the city center of Punda, with it’s
world famous colored houses you will cross the “pondjesbrug” floating
bridge. A unique photo and video opportunity as well as a ‘must see’ in
Curaçao. At the ‘handelskade’ you will witness Punda’s shopping area and
your guide will inform you about the history of this area. Another of
Curacao’s “must see” areas is the famous “floating market” where merchants
from Venezuela are selling their fruit and vegetables A refreshing
welcome’s drink is waiting for you at the Maritime Museum where you can
see the nautical history of Curaçao.
At the end of the tour you can walk back to the ship through "Punda", on
your own, while enjoying opportunities for shopping and/or more
site-seeing.

Curacao Horse Back Riding Adventure
This is an exclusive
horse back riding experience! You will be picked up at the dock by a Yellow
Adventures guide who will escort you to the bus. With this bus you will travel
along a scenic route to the "Groot St Michiel" Plantation. During this scenic bus ride, your questions about
the history, topography and nature of the island will be answered. There you
will get a briefing about the horse back riding trail, safety and the
"Groot St Michiel" Plantation area in
general. This plantation is a historic 200 acre plantation, now the home of the
"Rancho Alegre". This private area is designated to only nature and eco tourism.
There are no cars or roads. This is Curaçao’s nature in it’s purist form. During
the horse back ride you are likely to encounter,
cacti, divi-divi trees, and possible
spotting of deer, flamingo’s, wara
wara birds of pray, lizards, and maybe even wild pigs. There are many
panoramic viewing points as for example Bridge point which you will enjoy while
you are overlooking the "Groot St Michiel" Plantation and the Caribbean Sea.
This is a very interesting tour to get a glimpse of Curacao’s nature and a real
Curaçao Rancho with local animals.
After the returning from the ride, you can meet all animal at Rancho
Alegre. Cows, chicken, goose, horses, mules, rabbits, and lot’s more.
To fully participate may
require some periods of walking and horse back riding over even and uneven
surfaces and steep terrain. There may be steps, inclines, cobblestone surfaces,
and extended periods of standing. You should be able to step onto a horse.
Participants with physical limitations should take this into account.

Curacao Jeep
Safari
You will
be picked up at the dock and guided to the Landrover jeeps. There you will get a
briefing and safety instructions in reference to driving in open vehicles,
specifically in the "wild Curacao" terrain. After you have been seated in the
vehicles you will be driven towards the wild terrain, where your 4x4 outdoor
adventure will start. Driving through Curacao’s wild nature terrain, with cacti, divi-divi trees, and possible spotting of wara wara birds of pray, lizards,
flamingo’s and wild pigs will certainly be one of the highlights of your cruise
holiday. A refreshing beach break, with the possibility for a nice swim, will be
held at one of Curacao’s beautiful beach coves, where you can have a cool drink
and a tasty snack. After the beach break you will enjoy a scenic drive back to
the ship.
