Tourist Open
On December 30th 2006 the second Curaçao Tourist Open
will be held at Blue Bay Golf Course. The Curaçao Tourist Open is the only golf
tournament especially held for tourists on Curaçao. The tournament is organized
2 times a year.
Guests from all hotels can enter the tournament and play for
great prizes at the beautiful 18-hole championship golf course of Blue Bay Golf
& Beach Resort. Every participating hotel will be re-presented by one or two
teams with 4 players. The teams compete with each other to win a trophy for the
hotel and a lot of other prizes for the players.

Format
Teams of four will play a team "scramble" with a "twist". In the
scramble format all team members tee-off. The team then chooses the best shot
and all players play their next shot from that place. This continues until the
ball is holed out. The twist: at least 2 tee shots from every team member
must be used. The team handicap will be the sum of the team members
individual handicaps divided by 8.
Clinic
The clinic is for non golf players that would love to learn more
about golf. Mr. Vince Kelly, the golf pro of Blue Bay Golf & Beach Resort will
be in charge of this clinic. The clinic will take 2.5 hours and will give a
short introduction to golf.

Tournament US$ 80,- or Naf 140,-
Shoe & Club rental US$ 20,- or Naf 35,-
Clinic (2.5 hours) US$ 28,- or Naf 49,-
