Curacao’s beaches are teeming with underwater life: multi-colored parrot fish, silvery barracuda’s, French Angel fish, manta rays and on a lucky day you can even see a school of dolphins swim by your beach cove. Colonies of coral and sea anemones inhabit the waters just off the shore. Look for the shy, if fierce-looking moray eels hiding in rocky crevices. You’ll never see a shark at the beaches.

Snorkeling
If you’ve never snorkeled, now may be a good time to learn during the various Snorkel Safaris. At the very least, put on a mask and get a glimpse of the wonders just below the surface. It’s a shame if you come all the way to Curacao and haven’t looked to the underwater life.
